Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor

Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor at Michael Garron Hospital plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, this individual is responsible for promoting a patient-centered approach, ensuring timely and efficient services, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Diagnostic Imaging team to achieve exceptional patient care and service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient throughput, optimize resource utilization, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Maintain open communication channels with the Director/Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, staff in other departments, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Develop, maintain, and update policy and procedure manuals, training materials, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and excellence in Diagnostic Imaging services.
Requirements
- Current active registration as a CMRT.
- Undergraduate degree in Administration or Clinical discipline.
- Current certificate of competence issued by the discipline's licensing body in Ontario (if applicable).
- Demonstrated experience in incremental leadership responsibilities in the field of healthcare.
- Proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and think critically.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of clinical/administrative computer software, including MS Office.
