We are seeking a highly skilled Air Quality Project Manager to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Quebec. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of pollutant release inventories and air quality studies.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our team of experts, including engineers, technicians, and draftsmen, to collect and interpret data, analyze and interpret results, and develop technical reports. Your expertise in atmospheric dispersion modeling, including experience with AERMOD, CALPUFF, and other modeling programs, will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and interpret data from client sites and offices.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform project decisions.
- Develop and implement atmospheric emissions inventory calculations and dispersion modeling.
- Prepare and edit technical reports for clients.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
- Participate in service development by identifying business opportunities and writing service proposals.
- Guide and support junior staff in their areas of expertise.
- Collaborate with professionals from other Stantec business units to provide environmental support for their projects.
- Ensure project budgets and deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental sciences.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in atmospheric dispersion modeling and project management.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients.
- Excellent communication skills in French, with proficiency in English.
- Thorough knowledge of Excel and experience with data analysis software.
