OCAD University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sessional Instructor to teach Low Poly Game Art in the Faculty of Arts.
About the PositionThis is a temporary/contract position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and teaching-related responsibilities, including course outline development, studio preparation and delivery, grading, and evaluations.
Responsibilities- Teach Low Poly Game Art course, exploring 3D production processes and contexts of delivery
- Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, critiques, and evaluations
- Assess student work and provide feedback
- Meet academic and curricular requirements and deadlines
- Terminal degree in art, design, or relevant discipline
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and experience promoting a respectful and inclusive work and learning environment
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. Sessional compensation includes a per-course pay scale with salary level of $6, per 0.5 credit course, plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay.
