Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to join our team at Gemstar Security Service Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Be the point of contact for emergency situations, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position.
