Position Overview

Meta Connections Inc. is seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician to enhance our technical team. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of our network systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Flexibility to relocate as needed
  • Engagement with a consulting firm
  • Collaboration with an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems
  • Deliver troubleshooting assistance to network users
  • Conduct routine network operations and maintain comprehensive control records
  • Execute data backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Establish local area networks and ensure Internet connectivity
  • Revise web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary
  • Address inquiries from website visitors and designers
  • Manage web server backup and recovery tasks
  • Oversee a small technical team
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of 1 to 2 technical staff members.

Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with desktop applications is essential.
