Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Trilink Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and other logistics personnel
  • Prepare and review reports on production and other key performance indicators
  • Train and develop the skills of our logistics team members
  • Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure efficient transportation of goods
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
