Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. This role supports the Store Manager in various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, as well as managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability
  • Manage and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Control expenses and shrinkage through effective inventory management and loss prevention
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Prior retail and/or management experience required
  • Ability to work up to 38 hours per week
  • Physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
