We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at 911 Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
- Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, ensuring a strong and stable framework for our buildings.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and quality.
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective communication with team members.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and structures, using your expertise to restore them to their original condition.
- 2-3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, offices, and warehouses.
