We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ECT/TMS team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments.
Responsibilities- Provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management for patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the smooth flow of patients through the treatment process.
- Use multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health issues, functional status, and safety concerns.
- Communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team and prioritize patient care needs.
- Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients and initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
