Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote Indigenous culture and community engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational assistants to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing culturally relevant programs and events, such as feasts, round dances, and cultural awareness activities.
- Provide support to families and students to help students stay in school or return to school.
- Work with families, students, staff, and other stakeholders to support students with high school completion and post-secondary planning.
- Post-Secondary Education in Indigenous Studies is an asset.
- Experience working with Indigenous youth.
- Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
