Environmental Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Process Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. in Edmonton.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Environmental Process Engineer to work on a wide range of projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, water and wastewater pump stations, and other related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including process design, equipment selection, and system operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including project management, engineering, and construction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in our work.
- 5+ years of experience in Civil and Environmental Process Engineering, with a focus on water and/or wastewater treatment systems.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) with experience working on municipal projects in Alberta.
- Strong knowledge of structural, HVAC, electrical, and controls systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
