About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Cow Head Clover Farm. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Scan items and receive payment for goods or services
  • Wrap or place merchandise in bags and provide change as needed
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods and provide accurate measurements
  • Provide information about products and services to customers
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a retail or cash handling environment an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
