About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Superior Wash. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Scan Items: Efficiently scan merchandise and ensure accurate pricing and promotions.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide solutions to their needs.
  • Merchandise Handling: Wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling restricted products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail sales experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
