Physiotherapy Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Physiotherapist to provide high-quality care to residents in a Long Term Care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with conducting group exercises and one-on-one therapy sessions with residents.
  • Encourage residents to reach their treatment goals and document progress.
  • Perform treatments such as applying ice packs, hot packs, and electrotherapy.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the Physiotherapist or supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Physiotherapy Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector and valid 2 STEP TB Test or Chest X-Ray.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license.

Please note that relocation is not an option, and the successful candidate must be a resident of the Kingsville and/or Windsor area.
