Job Summary:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering propane to various customers across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries to various local, rural, commercial, and oilfield customers.
- Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
- Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
- Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Have 1+ years of professional driving experience. Experience hauling liquids and/or compressed gas is preferred (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a Class 1 license and a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Be a self-starter who works well independently with strong organisational skills and time management.
- Be familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
- Be comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
