Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Yellow Belly Brewery. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of our brewery facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to create a stable and even surface.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the longevity of our facilities.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to prevent environmental hazards.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability to meet the demands of a fast-paced construction environment.
