About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to join our team at ANDRITZ Hydropower Canada. As a key member of our Andritz Field Services team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the installation of our hydroelectric turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize work schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to milestones.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, providing instructions and directives as needed.
  • Ensure installations meet specifications, drawings, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Monitor work progress, identifying and addressing delays.
  • Participate in auditing for compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures and regulations.
  • Manage and resolve site technical issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience in a supervisory role on mechanical equipment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop excellent working relationships with workers and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, collective agreements, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow methods statements, procedures, specifications, and drawings.
