About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Aegona. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web system using Java Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the backend functions of our web system, including API development and integration with frontend components.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Lead and support team members in their daily tasks, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our web system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and technology enhancements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Java Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, with a minimum of 5 team members.
  • Knowledge of C# and ASP.Net Core, as well as web service development and security.
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems, including Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization.
