About the Role

We are seeking an experienced A&R Manager to join our innovative team at Warner Music Group. As a key member of our 91 North Records division, you will be responsible for identifying and signing new talent, managing artist relationships, and collaborating with our marketing team to create successful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and recruit new artists for our roster, utilizing data and analytics to inform your decisions.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement creative strategies for our artists and releases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing artists, producers, and industry professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, utilizing your network to identify new opportunities and talent.
  • Manage budgets and expenses for artist projects, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and expense reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics for artist video shoots, recording sessions, and production.
  • Assist in securing lyrics, writer splits, and other necessary label copy.

About You:

  • You have a strong network within the music industry, with a deep understanding of the South Asian music space.
  • You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to assess music and provide feedback to creative partners.
  • You have a proven track record of success in the music industry, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in A&R.
  • You are a self-starter with a natural ability to build relationships and a strong work ethic.
