We are currently seeking a Director of IT Internal Audit to enhance our internal audit capabilities and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of the IT internal audit strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT departments and business leaders to uphold a robust IT internal control framework.
  • Examine comprehensive process documentation related to IT audits and controls, including narratives, risk matrices, and testing criteria.
  • Conduct IT audits following established guidelines and departmental standards, identifying and documenting any control deficiencies.
  • Perform risk assessments, analyze documentation processes, design audit methodologies, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in the preparation of clear and concise audit workpapers, reports, and communications.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and controls, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Engage with external auditors and third-party consultants to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate IT SOX compliance and design deficiencies, ensuring timely remediation of identified issues.
  • Lead training initiatives related to IT internal audit practices.
  • Manage a global team, providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering professional development.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CISSP are preferred.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a complex organizational environment.
  • Extensive knowledge in information technology, internal auditing, and SOX compliance.
  • Strong grasp of internal auditing standards and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Oracle systems is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
