Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at S&B Landscaping and Fencing Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, ensuring high-quality results and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscape professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to maintain the beauty and integrity of outdoor spaces.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough assessments to determine resource requirements, ensuring accurate estimates and efficient project delivery.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and staff to deliver high-quality landscape construction projects.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately document project progress, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project management.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors, ensuring optimal pricing and service delivery.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Procure necessary resources to support project execution.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Analyze issues and provide expert guidance to improve project outcomes.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
