Canteen Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Canteen Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our canteen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and customer feedback
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure quality control
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
