Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Program Management leadership, with a minimum of 8 years in planning and overseeing medium to large-scale programs or multiple smaller initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level within a complex organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with SaaS technologies and a demonstrated capability to collaborate with engineering teams on intricate technology programs utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies, along with project/program management best practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong technical knowledge with a focus on software development methodologies, architecture, and lifecycle management.
  • Established track record of fostering strong partnerships across teams to achieve optimal program outcomes.
  • Preferred educational background in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Agile training and experience are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Spearhead company-wide initiatives to prepare all teams and offerings for critical business periods.
  • Oversee program management for cross-functional initiatives across Intuit, collaborating closely with technical leads to define and implement program strategies.
  • Integrate various programs within the technology division to clarify objectives and create a unified strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive program roadmaps and execution plans throughout all phases of planning, development, and launch readiness.
  • Collaborate with leaders in your domain to drive project/program and overall organizational strategies that accelerate key business outcomes.
  • Provide data-driven insights to execute, monitor, and communicate progress, trade-offs, or necessary decisions.

Change Leadership

  • Swiftly identify and address critical issues and dependencies, driving them to resolution while communicating results effectively.
  • Partner with leadership to cultivate a culture where teams are recognized and encouraged through transitions.
  • Build trust across teams and garner broad support for initiatives.
  • Understand and advocate for key changes (process, technology, and organizational) driven by the program, measuring success through execution.

Scaling Enablement

  • Recommend and implement improvements within projects/programs, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of project/program management practices and be recognized as an expert by peers.
  • Mentor and coach others in the organization on fundamental program management principles.

Domain Expertise

  • Quickly navigate new program areas, delving deeply into subjects and distilling information to the appropriate level of detail.
  • Expertise in software development methodologies, applying suitable SDLC practices to programs to ensure engineering and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate domain-specific discussions, guiding experts through active problem-solving.

Program Delivery

  • Drive and continuously enhance the operational rhythm of projects/programs.
  • Create high-quality plans organized into manageable components, each assigned to individual owners.
  • Utilize data to evaluate progress against plans, exercising independent judgment to provide insights and communicate trends to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and issues, presenting recommended response strategies to stakeholders.
