Job Title: Cardiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. in Scarborough. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic electrocardiographic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform stress testing of Nuclear Cardiology patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide the physician with a tracing of the patient's ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate before and during the stress test.
  • Conduct tests in accordance with CSCT and KMH's protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Instruct or aid the patient on stress testing and other equipment.
  • Apply independent judgment and critical thinking during the examination to ensure that all appropriate data is captured during the test.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition and ensure the examination rooms are properly supplied, equipped, and operational before, during, and after each shift.
  • Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and in good working order and assist in maintaining a current inventory of routine supplies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and other KMH staff to assist with patient care.
  • Attend team meetings and updates.
  • Maintain continuous professional development in ECG through self-study, including attending courses or seminars.
Requirements:
  • CSCT certification is required.
  • Part-time role scheduled for 2-3 days per week between Monday-Saturday.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled during 8:00 a.m.-4:00/4:30 p.m.
