Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to specifications, including glassware, cutlery, linen, table and chair settings, and other necessary items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including banquet storage spaces, to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and responding to their requests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Abide by all laws and regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Reset banquet rooms after events to ensure readiness for the next function.
  • Provide culinary experience to our guests and residents, aligning with our Service Beyond commitment.
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to supervisors or managers as needed.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are available before starting shifts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide an exceptional experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work weekends and variable schedules, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
  • Hospitality experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada full-time is necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Willingness to work overtime is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40Ibs is necessary for this role.
