About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Associate to join our ScotiaMcLeod team. As an Investment Associate, you will work closely with a Wealth Advisor to develop and manage their book of business by providing exceptional client service and contributing to business development and sales-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of financial products and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client base
  • Work with the Wealth Advisor and financial specialists to deepen client relationships through comprehensive financial planning
  • Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with the Wealth Advisor to develop and distribute client communication and marketing materials
  • Provide leadership and coaching to other associates on the team and within the branch
  • Regularly review and optimize administrative processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
  • Completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience
