Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel.

Job Summary:

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, team player.
