Position Overview

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Digital Health team. This role focuses on the administration and technical support of clinical and business applications that are vital for delivering healthcare services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 2 administrative and technical support for various applications, ensuring users receive effective assistance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan, implement, and document upgrades or new installations of applications.
  • Respond to incidents and problems escalated from the service desk, independently triaging and resolving issues as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders regarding progress and resolutions.

Current Focus Areas

Our immediate needs are within clinical digital solutions, particularly in supporting acute care, specialty care, and community applications, including pharmacy systems and electronic patient records.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in information analysis and data management, with a strong background in supporting applications at both tier 1 and tier 2 levels.
  • Experience with large ICT projects and hospital information systems is preferred.
  • A post-secondary diploma in information technology, computer science, or a related field is required.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a commitment to the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.

Physical Requirements
