About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Taste of Tandoor. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Team Leadership: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising and coordinating the work of other kitchen staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina to perform the demands of the role.
  • Personal Suitability: A client-focused approach, with strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset, and a permanent position with 35 hours per week is available.
Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English, and the work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding.
