Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge AI and ML solutions to drive business growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Cloud and Cybersecurity Expertise: You will work exclusively in a large Linux-based environment across multiple platforms, supporting multiple Kubernetes-based applications and responding to system and application availability incidents.
- Technical Leadership: You will lead the implementation and maintenance of complete technology solutions for projects supporting highly complex Cloud and physical-based platforms and applications with complex network integration needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with system architects to transition solutions to steady state, documenting support processes, capacity planning, and maintenance schedules.
- Technical Requirements: You will define business and technical requirements, development specifications, system performance objectives, and identify system modifications.
- Industry Expertise: You will maintain and encourage expert knowledge of industry-standard back-end technologies, including Google and Azure Cloud concepts, Jenkins pipelines, GIT Tools, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Pub/Sub, and security and encryption concepts.
- Technical Experience: 10+ years of technical working experience as an IT Security Analyst/Software Engineer.
- Operating System Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Network Protocols: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Common Network Protocols (TCP/UDP/HTTPS/FTP).
- Cloud Experience: Experience with GCP build and architecture.
- Containerization: Experience with creating Docker registries, containers, and Kubernetes deployment.
- DevOps: Familiarity with Terraform and DevOps.
- Security Certification: CISSP or any Security Certification.
- Data Discovery: Experience with Data Discovery.
- Communication: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.
