About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Petro Canada. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System with accuracy and efficiency, processing transactions and handling customer payments.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Cash and Credit Transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of cash handling security and integrity.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment by adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring that the sales floor and surrounding areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Work Collaboratively with Colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Product Knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and make informed recommendations.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous Retail Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic Math Skills to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
