Job Title: Class 1 Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 truck driver to join our team at American Iron and Metals (AIM). As a roll-off driver, you will be responsible for transporting metals to our clients and AIM sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport metals to various clients and AIM sites
  • Perform local trips
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections
  • Participate in loading and unloading trailers
  • Maintain safety standards at all times
  • Operate different types of heavy vehicles as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 1 FM driving license
  • Minimum 12 months of experience on a heavy vehicle
  • Experience with different types of trailers
Skills:
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Excellent physical condition
  • Customer service skills
  • Reliability, Diligence, Punctuality
  • Respect for equipment and tools
Work Environment:
  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
