The Culinary Service Specialist plays a vital role in the food preparation and service areas within the establishment. Required certifications include a Food Handlers Certificate, Vulnerable Sector Check, Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, and a Tuberculosis Test.
The ideal candidate will present themselves in a highly professional manner, understanding the importance of integrity and ethical behavior. Key skills include:
- Ability to maintain a positive demeanor.
- Effective communication with colleagues and other departments.
- Professional relationship management with coworkers, vendors, supervisors, and clients.
- Basic computer proficiency.

Physical requirements include:
- Close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
- Significant mobility, including walking.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Capability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting/moving of 40 pounds.
This position is primarily indoors, though it may involve supervising outdoor activities and events. The schedule may vary, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as required by business operations. While working, employees are generally in a controlled, temperate environment but may experience exposure to heat or cold during outdoor events. The noise level in the workplace typically ranges from moderate to loud.
