Chef Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail
  • Fast-paced environment

  • Team player
Work Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 35 hour work week. The language of work is English.
