Job Title: Night Awake Disability Service Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Night Awake Disability Service Worker. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in building life skills, independence, and social interaction within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily household tasks and personal care, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Transport individuals to appointments, day programs, and community events, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
  • Observe and document individual needs, providing valuable insights for care planning and service delivery.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with individuals to promote their social interaction and community integration. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid Class 5 Driver License and reliable transportation
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention, Medication Administration, Abuse Protocol, and Behavioural Strategies training
