Key Responsibilities- Food Cost Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
- Recipe Development: Create new and innovative recipes that showcase our culinary expertise and meet customer demands.
- Culinary Leadership: Instruct and train cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, to meet customer expectations.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure timely delivery and optimal quality.
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of our growing business.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure food safety and quality.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
