Safety Training Specialist

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Contract Industrial Safety Trainer to deliver high-quality industrial safety training programs to clients in the Fort McMurray area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating training programs for both external and internal customers, including Rigging, Overhead Crane, Working at Heights, Forklift Operator, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space Entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver professional training programs that meet Hercules SLR standards
- Manage the effectiveness of training practices, including scheduling and training aids
- Promote the consistent application of operational standards
- Deliver training programs to clients in a variety of settings, including in-person and virtual
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in health and safety or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in adult training or learning
- Prior experience with overhead crane and rigging operations is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel frequently in the Fort McMurray area
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
