About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Cambridge Immigration Solutions Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and corporate income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
