Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Quality Foods Chinese Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers, wash and dry dishes, and store them in a clean and organized manner.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure recycling is properly sorted and stored.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
