Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the crops to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Cultivate and irrigate crops using vertical farming systems.
  • Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions.
  • Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts.
  • Tie and secure plants.
  • Weeding and harvesting crops.
Work Environment:
  • Outdoors in a rural area with various locations.
  • Dusty and hot work site environment.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
  • Team player with a seasonal work term.
  • Work language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
