Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Galaxy Home Furnishing Corp. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Store products in a safe and organized manner, using inventory management systems to track stock levels
  • Prepare and package products for shipping, including labeling and palletizing
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products around the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The warehouse is a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented environment.
