About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Tetra Clean Inc. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors).
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to WHMIS regulations, and report any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Communication: Provide excellent customer service, respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
