As a Mortgage Representative at Desjardins, you will be part of a team of 10 financing experts who are dedicated to helping our members and clients achieve their dream of buying a home. This is a full-time on-site position that offers a unique opportunity to develop a high-growth market in Ontario and receive 100% commission-based pay commensurate with your development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining lasting business relationships with market intermediaries, such as real estate agencies, brokers, and developers.
  • Investing in customer canvassing and targeting client needs to develop appropriate strategies and prepare mortgage financing offers.
  • Promoting the global offer, including the protection and sale of cross-products, to ensure a presence in the business community of your territory.
  • Staying up-to-date with financial services industry news, market trends, and best practices in your field.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum four years of relevant experience
  • Upper intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients
  • Valid driver's license
  • Availability for frequent travel at the request of members and clients
  • Availability 7 days a week, including evenings
