Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and inspecting machinery to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Utilizing computerized and other diagnostic tools to assess repair needs.
  • Managing parts inventory and ordering necessary components.
  • Adjusting equipment and replacing defective parts as required.
  • Maintaining detailed maintenance records and documentation.
  • Testing repaired machinery to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Conducting repairs on heavy trucks and servicing attachments.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • Certifications such as Fall Arrest Protection Training and First Aid.
Specializations

Expertise in the following areas is preferred:

  • Diesel Engine Repair: Knowledge of fuel injection, lubrication, and engine control systems.
  • Powered Equipment Repair: Experience with hydraulic attachments, compressors, and industrial lift trucks.
