Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that both food quality and customer satisfaction are prioritized.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to various odours and heat typical of a restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job duties, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 1 to 2 individuals, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen helpers.
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance is necessary.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, along with bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Experience Requirements
