Food Service Manager

Wicked Cafe is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our coffee shop and bakery.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and a positive customer experience.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring we have the right products on hand to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Cashiering and Sales: Perform cashiering duties and maintain accurate records of sales and wastage.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:
- Coffee shop and bakery environment.
Language: English.
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
