Job Title: Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and caring nanny to join our team at Simon N. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household support to our family.

Our home is a non-smoking environment.

Work Setting:

The nanny will work in our employer's home.

Tasks:
  • Change diapers
  • Follow parents' lead with toilet training
  • Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
  • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
  • CookSecurity and Safety:

A criminal record check is required.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available, and we are willing to travel regularly.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The nanny will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Weight Handling:

The nanny will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a candidate with flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, time management, patience, and honesty.
