Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
  • Experience: Will train.
