Key Responsibilities- Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
- Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure proper installation.
- Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to ensure structural integrity.
- Level Earth and Perform Maintenance: Level earth to fine grade specifications and perform routine maintenance work to ensure site safety.
- Remove Debris and Direct Traffic: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and direct traffic at or near construction sites as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors, confined spaces, noisy.
- Work Setting: Urban area, remote location, various locations, construction site.
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, overtime required.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player, hardworking.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, permanent position, 35 hours per week, English language.
