Position Overview:

Currently, we are in search of a Certified Automotive Technician for our operations.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Certified Automotive Technician at First Student, you will be integral in the upkeep and repair of school buses, ensuring their operational readiness and safety. Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting preventive maintenance checks, safety evaluations, and annual inspections
  • Diagnosing and executing repairs on various vehicle systems including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Accurately completing work orders and documentation
  • Providing support for mobile emergency repair services

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Holding an S and/or T license
  • Having a complete set of mechanic's tools
  • Willingness to engage in the ASE certification program, with training, testing, and bonuses available
